Environmental Health Grantmaking

People are exposed to environmental toxins in food, air, water and consumer products throughout their lives. These exposures contribute to a number of diseases and disorders that undermine the health and well-being of individuals, communities and ecosystems. JFF supports efforts to reduce and eliminate toxic burdens in people, communities, and the natural and built environment, and to foster healthier, more sustainable lives and livelihoods.

JFF has awarded more than $6.8 million in grants through the environmental health program since its inception.
